Batteries Made in Güstrow
The company „GTC Energy Solution” has settled in Güstrow and has started the production of lithium-ion batteries in Güstrow as from September.
For this purpose a property at the commercial area Glasewitzer Chaussee has been rented for an initial period of two years.
Particularly the central location within Europe, the proximity to the Baltic Sea and the convenient links to the motorway network influenced the location decision significantly.
“We are acting internationally and lithium batteries for the shipping industry represent 80% of our production”, says the president of the company, Mr Jan Brandt.
The basis for the company was made by the Canadian Brent Perry – patent owner and shareholder – with his batteries.
The company is currently looking for new employees. Engineers, mechatronics technicians, industrial mechanics, but also lateral entrants, are very welcome.
